Website Terms & Conditions
Last Updated:
1. Introduction and Scope
Welcome to PrecMade.
These Website Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) describe the conditions applicable to the use of https://precmade.com (the “Website”) and its general information, inquiry, and communication features.
PrecMade operates as a custom electronic enclosure manufacturing partner, supporting engineering review, manufacturing-route evaluation, project communication, and coordination with project-matched manufacturing resources.
These Terms primarily concern the Website and initial business inquiries. They are not intended to serve as a complete sales agreement or manufacturing services contract.
Any confirmed manufacturing project, purchase order, or commercial transaction may be governed by separate quotations, order confirmations, contracts, or other applicable written agreements.
Please review these Terms before using the Website or submitting project information.
2. Website Purpose and Business Model
The Website provides information about custom electronic enclosure solutions, manufacturing approaches, engineering considerations, and related project services.
PrecMade coordinates project requirements, technical reviews, manufacturing-route selection, quotation discussions, and project-specific production and quality activities.
Physical manufacturing operations may be performed by manufacturing and engineering resources selected for the relevant project.
References to machining, fabrication, casting, finishing, assembly, inspection, or other processes do not mean that every operation is performed at a single facility or through equipment owned by PrecMade.
Actual manufacturing sources, process capabilities, production arrangements, and supporting documentation depend on the requirements and confirmed scope of each project.
3. Website Use and Prohibited Activities
The Website is intended primarily for business and professional users seeking information about custom electronic enclosures and related services.
You may access and use the Website for lawful business research, technical evaluation, and communication with PrecMade.
You must not use the Website to:
- Submit unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, or intentionally harmful information.
- Interfere with the Website’s security, availability, or normal operation.
- Introduce malicious software or attempt unauthorized access to website systems.
- Impersonate another person or organization.
- Submit materials that you are not authorized to disclose or use for the intended inquiry.
- Infringe intellectual property rights or other applicable legal rights.
- Use the Website in violation of applicable laws or regulations.
PrecMade may take reasonable measures to protect the Website and its communication systems against misuse, security threats, or unlawful activity.
4. Website Information and Engineering Guidance
Information published on the Website is intended to support general technical understanding and preliminary project evaluation.
This may include information about materials, manufacturing methods, enclosure construction, environmental protection, thermal management, electromagnetic compatibility, tolerances, and quality considerations.
Such information is general in nature and may not address every engineering, manufacturing, safety, or regulatory requirement relevant to a particular application.
Website content, illustrative images, diagrams, comparisons, and examples should not be treated as final design approval, certified test results, or confirmation that a particular manufacturing method is suitable for an individual project.
Engineering recommendations and manufacturing approaches require review against the actual project specifications, operating conditions, applicable standards, and other relevant requirements.
Project-specific responsibilities, technical approvals, testing requirements, and acceptance criteria should be established through the applicable project documentation.
5. Engineering RFQs, Quotations, and Orders
Visitors may submit engineering requests for quotation (“RFQs”) or contact PrecMade to discuss potential projects.
Submitting an RFQ does not, by itself, establish an accepted manufacturing order or require either party to proceed with a commercial transaction.
An initial inquiry may require clarification of drawings, materials, quantities, tolerances, finishing, inspection, documentation, and other technical or commercial requirements.
Any quotation should be considered together with its stated specifications, assumptions, exclusions, validity conditions, and other applicable terms.
Website information and preliminary project discussions do not independently establish final prices, production quantities, delivery schedules, manufacturing commitments, or acceptance requirements.
Where the parties proceed with a project, the applicable written quotation, order confirmation, contract, or other agreed transaction documents will determine the relevant commercial and manufacturing obligations.
Changes to project specifications or other quotation assumptions may require further review and agreement.
6. Drawings, CAD Files, and Project Information
Engineering inquiries may involve drawings, CAD models, technical specifications, design files, bills of materials, and other project documentation.
When providing such materials, you should have the necessary rights or authorization to share them for the intended engineering review, feasibility assessment, quotation, or related project discussion.
Submitting project information does not, by itself, transfer ownership of your drawings, CAD files, designs, or other intellectual property to PrecMade.
PrecMade may need to review, organize, and communicate relevant technical information to evaluate your inquiry and coordinate appropriate manufacturing or engineering resources, subject to applicable law and any separately agreed restrictions.
As described in our Privacy Policy, necessary technical requirements and project materials may be shared with relevant manufacturing and engineering partners for feasibility review and quotation coordination.
A general RFQ submission is not treated as authorization to publicly disclose confidential technical documentation.
Where additional restrictions apply to the use or disclosure of project materials, please communicate those requirements before providing sensitive information.
Our current RFQ form supports references to externally shared files rather than direct attachment uploads.
You should review the permissions of any file-sharing link before submitting it.
Do not transmit classified, export-controlled, or similarly restricted technical information through publicly accessible file-sharing links. Contact us first if special handling requirements may apply.
7. Confidentiality and Nondisclosure Agreements
PrecMade recognizes that engineering inquiries may involve commercially sensitive technical information.
If a project requires a nondisclosure agreement (“NDA”), please identify that requirement before sharing sensitive drawings, CAD files, or other confidential project materials.
Selecting an NDA-related option in an inquiry form or requesting an NDA does not, by itself, establish an executed confidentiality agreement.
Specific confidentiality obligations, permitted disclosures, restrictions on use, and document-handling requirements may be established through a separate written agreement.
Where such an agreement applies, the parties should follow its applicable requirements when exchanging or using covered information.
Information provided through the Website is otherwise handled in accordance with the applicable Privacy Policy, relevant legal obligations, and any separate agreements governing the information.
8. Manufacturing Capabilities and Project-Specific Commitments
Descriptions of manufacturing processes, materials, production approaches, customization options, or quality activities on the Website are intended to explain potential project solutions.
They do not constitute universal guarantees of manufacturing capability, minimum order quantity, price, lead time, inspection coverage, certification, or product performance.
Actual feasibility and capability depend on the technical requirements, selected manufacturing resources, production conditions, and agreed project scope.
References to ingress protection, sealing, thermal performance, electromagnetic compatibility, material properties, or other functional characteristics do not constitute certified performance claims for an individual enclosure unless supported by the relevant project-specific evidence.
Testing, inspection, certifications, reports, and other documentation are subject to the requirements and arrangements confirmed for the project.
Any specific manufacturing, quality, performance, or delivery commitments should be established in the applicable project and commercial documents.
Nothing in these Website Terms is intended to replace or reduce obligations expressly undertaken under a separate applicable agreement.
9. Website Content and Intellectual Property
Website text, graphics, images, illustrations, branding, and other published materials may be protected by copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property laws.
The relevant rights may belong to PrecMade or to applicable third-party rights holders.
You may view and refer to Website content for legitimate internal business evaluation and research.
Unless permitted by applicable law or authorized by the relevant rights holder, Website content may not be reproduced, redistributed, republished, or commercially exploited without appropriate permission.
These provisions concern Website content and do not transfer ownership of customer-submitted engineering materials to PrecMade.
10. Third-Party Websites and Services
The Website may contain links to external websites, resources, file-sharing platforms, or other third-party services.
Such services operate under their own terms, policies, technical arrangements, and security practices.
The presence of a third-party link does not necessarily indicate that PrecMade endorses or controls the relevant external service.
Before sharing business, personal, or technical information through a third-party platform, please review its applicable terms and access settings.
11. Privacy and Information Security
The collection, use, disclosure, retention, and protection of personal information are described in our separate Privacy Policy.
Please review our Privacy Policy for information about Engineering RFQ data, technical references, communication services, manufacturing-partner information sharing, security technologies, and applicable privacy rights.
These Website Terms do not replace the Privacy Policy or any additional privacy notices that may apply.
Internet communications and external file-sharing systems can involve security risks. Particularly sensitive materials should be exchanged using an appropriate method agreed for the relevant project.
12. Website Availability and Updates
PrecMade may update, correct, reorganize, or discontinue Website content or features as reasonably necessary.
Information published on the Website may change as manufacturing technologies, available resources, service arrangements, or business requirements evolve.
Although we aim to keep Website information useful and accurate, published information may not always reflect the latest project-specific circumstances.
Visitors should confirm material technical or commercial information directly with PrecMade before relying on it for a particular project decision.
Changes to Website content do not, by themselves, amend obligations established under a separate applicable written agreement.
13. Separate Commercial Agreements and Legal Rights
These Terms address general Website use and related preliminary communications.
Specific manufacturing orders and commercial transactions may require separate agreements addressing matters such as:
- Confirmed manufacturing scope and specifications.
- Pricing, payment, and invoicing.
- Production schedules and delivery arrangements.
- Tooling and project-specific intellectual property.
- Inspection, acceptance, and quality requirements.
- Warranty, remedies, and liability allocation.
- Changes, cancellation, and dispute resolution.
The terms applicable to a particular transaction should be identified in the relevant written project or commercial documents.
Where a separate agreement governs a particular matter, that agreement will govern that matter to the extent applicable and legally effective.
Nothing in these Website Terms is intended to exclude or modify rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded or modified.
Questions about contracting parties, applicable law, or other commercial arrangements should be addressed during the relevant transaction discussions.
