One Enclosure Partner. Project-Matched Manufacturing
PrecMade supports custom electronic enclosure projects through one project interface, while physical manufacturing is assigned to resources matched to the product, process, quantity, quality needs and program stage.
We coordinate requirement review, route comparison, project baseline, document scope, changes and follow-up. Assigned resources perform the physical production operations within their confirmed scope.
Why the Manufacturing Model Follows the Project
Different enclosure architectures and project stages need different processes, secondary operations, evidence and production economics. The appropriate source depends on the work being assigned—not a blanket preference for one site. This is why route and resource selection are reviewed together.
Different manufacturing architectures
Extrusion, billet CNC, sheet metal and die casting solve different geometry, tooling and volume problems.
Secondary operations
Finishing, masking, machining, hardware, sealing and inspection can change which source is practical.
Program stage and quantity
Prototype, validation, bridge and repeat production can require different balances of flexibility, tooling and unit economics.
Quality and documentation
Inspection, traceability, certification scope and records can change the resource fit.
For process-level route and resource logic, review Electronic Enclosure Manufacturing.
One Project Interface Across Multiple Manufacturing Resources
One project interface can stay consistent even when physical work is distributed across different assigned resources.
Your project requirements
Drawings, commercial requirements, quality needs and approvals enter through one project interface.
Project and communication layer
We review requirements, align assumptions, compare routes, maintain the project baseline and communicate changes.
Physical manufacturing execution
Assigned resources execute the confirmed machining, forming, casting, finishing, hardware and inspection scope.
One interface does not mean one physical site. Project communication, approvals and change control stay coordinated while physical manufacturing remains with the assigned resource.
Clear Responsibility Across Project Management and Production
The managed model depends on a clear boundary between project coordination and physical execution.
PRECMADE MANAGES
Customer-facing project responsibilities
ASSIGNED RESOURCES PERFORM
Physical execution within the confirmed scope
Project management responsibility is not the same as physical manufacturing ownership. For project baselines, inspection evidence, deviations and changes, review Quality Control.
Why Electronic Enclosure Specialization Changes the Manufacturing Decision
An enclosure links mechanical fit, electronics integration, sealing, grounding, cosmetics and repeat assembly. Those interfaces affect both route selection and source fit. A change in one interface can alter machining, finish, assembly or inspection requirements elsewhere.
PCB & connector interfaces
Board position, cutouts and mating interfaces influence datum strategy and machining access.
Sealing architecture
Gasket paths, mating lands, fasteners and sealed openings affect construction and verification.
EMI & grounding
Contact areas, masking and grounding paths affect material, finish and assembly decisions.
Cosmetic surfaces
Visible zones, texture, color and marking influence process sequence and handling.
Installed hardware & assembly
Threads, inserts, connectors, panels and gaskets add sequence dependencies.
Repeat-production stability
Source fit can change as geometry, quantity, tooling and evidence stabilize.

Match Manufacturing Resources to the Project
Resource selection should reflect the assigned work, program stage and evidence needed for the specific enclosure—not a universal supplier label. A source that fits one material, geometry or program stage may not fit another.
Process fit
Required material form and assigned process
Geometry / scale
Size, access, wall structure and critical features
Quantity / program stage
Prototype, pilot, bridge or repeat-production needs
Quality / documentation
Inspection, records, traceability and certification scope
Schedule / capacity
Confirmed against current project assumptions when quoted
Capability evidence is project-specific. PrecMade does not treat one supplier’s equipment, certification or inspection evidence as proof for every resource. See the manufacturing route and resource logic.
Project-Specific Production Transparency
Production source, process scope and supporting evidence should follow the resource actually assigned to the project. Manufacturing-site, process-scope and capability information is tied to the resource actually assigned to the project rather than presented as a blanket company-wide capability. Where procurement or SQE requires site, process, certification or inspection evidence, it should be tied to the actual scope being reviewed.
Actual production source
Site and primary-process information follows the resource assigned to the work.
Process ownership
Internal and external operations are identified where they matter to scope, quality or qualification.
Evidence scope
Certification, equipment and inspection information is tied to the actual entity, facility and confirmed scope.
Factory visits may be arranged for qualified projects subject to supplier agreement, confidentiality, project stage and scheduling.
A Clear Information Path From Initial Review to Repeat Production
The goal is to make assumptions, assignments, changes and required evidence visible at each stage—not to promise one fixed process or source. This makes it easier to see what is confirmed, what remains open and when a change needs review.
Initial Review
Review drawings, quantities, quality needs and open assumptions.
Quotation Baseline
Align route assumptions, secondary operations, documentation and commercial scope.
Assigned Resource
Match the confirmed scope to suitable resources and verify project-relevant capability where needed.
Production & Verification
Assigned resources execute the physical work; PrecMade keeps communication aligned to the released baseline.
Repeat Production
Review revision, source, process scope and change status before repeat release.
For the project-control detail behind baselines, CTQs, evidence and change review, see Electronic Enclosure Quality Control.
Information for Supplier Qualification
Procurement and SQE teams may need company, production-source, capability and documentation information before supplier onboarding or project release.
Contracting, invoicing, payment and NDA details are confirmed through the applicable commercial documents.
Questions About the PrecMade Manufacturing Model
These answers focus on company identity, production responsibility, source transparency and project communication.
Is PrecMade a single manufacturing factory?
No. PrecMade operates as a managed electronic-enclosure manufacturing partner. PrecMade manages the project-facing interface, while physical manufacturing is performed through resources assigned to the confirmed scope. This separates project coordination from physical manufacturing ownership without requiring the customer to manage each production resource independently.
Who physically manufactures the enclosure?
The manufacturing resources assigned to the project perform the physical operations. A project can include a primary manufacturer plus separate resources for finishing, hardware, inspection or other secondary work. The assigned scope is confirmed for the project rather than assumed from a blanket network claim.
Will I know where my parts are produced?
Production-source information is handled at project level. When source disclosure is required for procurement, quality or qualification, the assigned site and relevant process scope can be confirmed for that project. It should not be inferred from generic factory imagery or supply-base claims.
Can the assigned manufacturing resource change?
Yes, but a source change should be reviewed when it can affect released requirements, capability, evidence, cost or schedule. Any required requalification or approval should be addressed before release, with the communication path based on the impact and project requirements.
Can a factory visit be arranged?
A visit to an assigned manufacturing site may be arranged for qualified projects when the supplier agrees and confidentiality, project stage and scheduling permit. Photography, audit scope and access can also be subject to the manufacturing site’s rules.
Who coordinates quality issues?
PrecMade is the customer-facing communication interface for project follow-up and coordinates issue communication with the assigned resource. Physical inspection, containment, rework or production actions remain with the responsible resource, while PrecMade maintains customer-facing follow-up against the agreed project baseline.
Can supplier, certification or inspection information be provided?
When relevant to supplier qualification or project requirements, applicable source, certification, equipment, inspection or documentation information can be reviewed after it is confirmed for the assigned resource and scope. It should not be assumed to apply to every supplier or project.
